General Relief Society Session 2011

My mother and I had the wonderful opportunity attend Relief Society conference downtown tonight. It was spectacular!! Second time I've been for conference :) I really wish I could go Sunday session next weekend, but I prolly will watch it at home. I love being in that conference center.

I mean come on. Who doesn't get chills when the First Presidency walks out?? I mean COME ON!!! It's the flippen PROPHET for crying out loud. In the same room as us!!!! It's so amazing and I just can't help but feel so blessed to have had this wonderful opportunity tonight! I never wanna leave Utah!!

I loved all the talks but Uchtdorf's was my favorite. He nailed it. "Forget Me Not." He told us to remember five things:

1. Forget not to be patient with yourself.
2. Forget not to remember the differences of good and bad sacrifices.
3. Forget not to be happy.
4. Forget not the why of the gospel.
5. Forget not that the Lord loves you.

Amazing right?? Seriously, there are so many quotes that will be used from this talk FOREVER!!! It was amazing and so inspiring, and definitely what the women of this church needed to hear! I'm so grateful for General Conference time. It's my favorite time of year :) I love this gospel!
