Is it just me, or do you have a GREAT love for the Ensign magazine, that the Church sends out each month. Because I absolutely love it! February's edition was spectacular! :) I had a wonderful Sunday. It was full of the Spirit and happiness. Lots of thoughts!
I made it to church late, due to driving back from home. I was still able to attend Sunday School and Relief Society! It was really good :) I read the Ensign all throughout RS, I felt bad but it was so good that I couldn't not. I felt like the answer to some of my prayers were in this edition. It was great! I just smiled to myself, because it's something I've been praying about for a while, and the exact subject was posted for the world to read. This Ensign has just been really good to me, I'd like to share a quote found in the talk "Finding Answers" by Joseph Fielding McConkie. He says, "As we accept our lot and move forward with what the Lord has asked of us, we discover that we enjoy the company of the Holy Ghost, angels feel constrained to join us, and the heavens open to our vision." - I really like that. I need to depend more on the Lord, and the gospel. Reading my scriptures, and praying. Attending the Temple, and asking the right questions, making sure I'm standing in Holy Places, so that I can receive the Spirit of Revelation, and let the works of God come into my life.
I'm such a blessed Daughter of a very loving Heavenly Father. I was taught so much today, and I'm sure I won't be able to forget. I'm really thankful for my family, and all the sacrifices they make, to support me, help me out, and everything else a family is supposed to do. I've received a ton of council and I'm really going to do my best to apply it in my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Alright, so I know this is a little off the subject from the post earlier, but I just saw another girls blog about her dream wedding, and I know I want to say a little of what I'd dream to have :)
I'm going to either take my endowments out at the Jordan River or Oquirrh Mountain Temple :) Both of them have something to do with my babe :) :) And then be sealed to my sweetheart in the Salt Lake Temple :) That has been my dream since I was a little girl. There is just something completely different about the Salt Lake Temple. I can't tell you what it is, but I just know that it's different. Anyway, it's beautiful :)
I would then love to have my reception in the Joseph Smith Memorial building! :) Preferably in the evening, and maybe do a luncheon or something because I'm sure my parents and his will want to. But then I want time to spend with my babe before the reception. To just be us; to just sit and talk; and dream together :) It would be amazing!
I would want a videographer! Have you heard of those!? They're amazing! I mean, don't get me wrong. I still want a photographer, but I want a video of our wedding because I want to hear voices, and see people move, so that in the future, for the ones that pass on, I can look back and hear them and see them smile :) Plus, I'd love to watch that day all over again! Also, I want the song "True Companion" by Marc Cohn to be played during the video made of my wedding :) You know that song "Marry Me" by Train!? Well, I have mixed feelings about it. Brady kept it from me, because he was going to use it to propose to me, but he just couldn't wait, and I absolutely fell in love with it. So he would text me the lyrics and such before he left :) But now it's so overplayed and SO many people love it, that it draws me from it. It's the one song I will not dance to, or use for my video, at my wedding. I'm sure Brady will understand ;) Hahaha Our song will be "Anywhere But Here" by Safetysuit because that's our song! :) I love it!
My dress will be simple. Elegant, classy and modest :) I don't want bling, crazy diamonds, sparkly, a ton of lace, and all these designs. I just want one that is plain, white, with maybe some little design on it. I will not be wearing a veil. I can tell you that right now. I'm sorry, they look good on some people, but I just hate them. I will just have something cute and what not in my hair! I'm going to have my hair down, curled! I'll wear the earrings my babe got me, and (obviously) the ring :) Which, by the way, I want Brady to like it just as much as I do, so he feels like his money is going to something of great worth, that we're both happy with, and vice versa for his ring :)
For party favors/thank you bags/thank you treats, I want M&M's that have "Just Married", "B&A", A picture of the SLC Temple, and "Thank You" on the M&M's in our wedding colors :) Cute right!? Totally :) I hope I have super yummy desert at my reception too, and I will make sure that someone saves me some!!
I would love to have digital scrapbook pages done to have people sign when they come in! So that we can put them in a scrapbook! I want gerber daisies as my flowers, and the center pieces will have flowers, and pictures of Brady & I during our dating days!
Ahh :) I just cannot wait to marry my babe for time and all eternity! :) I just can feel it. 21 more fast Sundays, 22 Months and we can make it all come true :) We've decided May 2nd, 2013 :) Hahaha I know, silly. But I'm happy with him :) Oh boy. I'm going to stop gushing over him, cause I'm sure you're all sick of it!

GUSHING! :)
I like the Ensign too, and I think your wedding will be gorgeous.
Hey there, randomly stumbled here from the MG facebook group. MG graduate myself!
I just think that you should know that I received my endowments in Jordan River and my hubs and I were married in Salt Lake. You don't know how right you are about SLC being "different" and I think your plan is fantastic. Stick to it and you'll never regret it, I swear. I wish I could explain more, but just know that your feelings about the Salt Lake temple are definitely from the Spirit. :-)
