Sometimes I like to go on walks around the Temples. I'm so grateful, and extremely lucky to live close to so many Temples. So many, beautiful, peaceful, and amazing House's of the Lord. They bless my life so much, and I pray everyday that I can remain worthy enough to always enter His House.
Today was a bit of a struggle, and I was feeling down because I didn't have that great of an experience at Church. I have a lot on my mind about my life, where it's going, what I'm doing, what my heart wants verses my brain. Who are my true friends, which school to go to, etc. So I turned to my stress-reliever when I can't stop this thinking problem. And that is, to take a walk around the Temple and let the Spirit and simple, and peaceful feeling sink in. It seriously changes my mood every single time I go. I love that I can turn to the Temple whenever needed. I love that it's always there for me.
When I was leaving, I saw another girl walk up to the gates of the Temple.
She just lifted her chin and stared at the Temple. That's what I do.
I was so happy to see I'm not the only one who can just drive to the Temple and take in it's beauty whenever needed. She bowed her head (I feel awful for kind of staring) and you could tell she was saying a silent prayer. And then she just stood there at the gates, still in Sunday dress, just looking at the beauty we've been blessed with.
I'm extremely grateful for the knowledge of the Temple. I'm so grateful I'm a member of this wonderful Church. I'm so grateful that my parents made the decision to be sealed for time and all eternity, to keep us together forever. They still keep their promises and I see it in all that they do.
I cannot wait for that day, that I get to marry my sweetheart in the Lord's Holy House.
I cannot wait to kneel across the altar and make eternal covenants I couldn't dream of making. I know it'll make me happy, and I can't wait to raise my family in this gospel. I have so many amazing examples (some I blog-stalk even!) in my life, that show me the true meaning of forever families.
I love my Heavenly Father.
I love my beautiful life :)
