Hank Smith

This is Hank Smith from Utah :)

Hahaha, no really, this is Brother Smith. He was my seminary teacher my senior year of high school! He is amazing! There will never be another Brother Smith. Ever. I really miss him. They transferred him to teach at BYU in the Religion department, so I haven't seen him in a while. He was speaking at the Best of EFY this morning, and my sisters friend was kind enough to let us have her tickets because she wasn't able to attend. I'm so grateful because it was amazing! It was a little awkward to be there with so many young kids, but I knew Brother Smith would do such a wonderful job and I wanted to be there to support him, and to visit him! :) He talked about Dating, and the "Owners Manual" a.k.a. the For Strength of Youth pamphlet. He did a wonderful job. He had everyone laughing (as usual) and he really brought the Spirit in.

He made me feel really special when he talked about how precious the young women are, and of course, it was nice to see him view the young men as "the greatest creation of God." His views on a lot of things were really awesome! The stories he told, and the experiences he shared, and examples he used couldn't have been any better.

Brother Smith has changed my life numerous times, and I owe so much to him! I'm so lucky to have had him not only my senior year, not only for his last year at CH, but for the Book of Mormon. He gave me insights and taught me things I'd never have known, if it weren't for him. I'm extremely grateful for the serving opportunity I had in his class as President. I'm grateful he trusted me enough to handle that role. He's a great man, and one I'll never forget.
