My Addiction

Like I've mentioned before, I'm making a quilt in school as one of my classes. And let's just get it over with.... I'm addicted. Yeah! I know! I want a sewing machine and all the money in the world to buy fabric and ribbon and just everything. I'm in love with sewing and I'm so excited to see how my quilt turns out to be :)

This is the second block to my quilt.
I made four of these, and I think I'll put them in the four
corners of my blanket.

And if that addiction isn't enough. Check out the craft I made with my sister Friday night!

I had so much fun! It was with her friends celebrating a birthday and just catching up!

I had a lot of fun spending time with my sister! I miss her a lot so I'm really grateful I was able to spend the night with her! We both chose the word Love and hers turned out pretty cute! I just didn't get to take a picture of it :( Anyway, so I'm pretty addicted to crafts now. I have my own business running and I make hair clips for girls of all ages! I just bought myself a hot glue gun and some glue sticks yesterday so I can start making more, and I'm not sure how great of an idea that was! Now I'll never stop! But it's so fun :)

Anyway, I went home and spent the night at my sisters and then I went home on Saturday. I stopped by my "home home" and said hi to my dad and my babylove (Scooter) and just chatted for a while, and then decided I needed to head back to school before the storm. I had until Monday to be at home, but things have been going so well with my roommates this semester that I actually missed them a lot!! We've been spending a lot of time together, and we're getting along well and school is going good for all of us and I'm just really happy this semester :) So when I left Friday afternoon, I was a little sad to be leaving all of them! Guess I won't be going home again until they all go home!

I also was pretty sad to leave my own home to come back to school. I guess that's another reason I wanted to go back. I get attached to my house quickly when I come home on weekends, and it's extremely hard being there without Brady :( :( Plus, I love my dog and my family so much that it's hard to say goodbye. I almost cried last night when I left them to come back. But I'm so grateful for this sacrifice, and for the support I'm getting from my family. It makes it so much easier!

I also got a letter from Brady this past week :) :) I was seriously on cloud 9 :) He is just the sweetest boy ever and I'm never letting him go. He's mine forever :) He's doing really well. Got pretty homesick there for a while, but he's just trying to do what I'm trying to do, stay busy. But I'm proud of him :) Also, my cousin just left to Hawaii on his mission this past Tuesday! I'm so excited!! I'm just so blessed to know so many missionaries :) I'm going to read the Book of Mormon again. I sincerely miss it :( And it's weird having nothing to read at night!
