The Priesthood

Yesterday, Brady received the Melchizedek Priesthood and was ordained an Elder :) It was a wonderful thing. I went to his Sacrament meeting, and Sunday school class. Then we went to a family birthday thing for his Aunt and then we just watched some t.v. after.

So I just wanted to say I'm really thankful for the Priesthood in my life. The Priesthood is amazing and I couldn't be happier to listen to blessings, prayers, talks, and even be in the presence of a Priesthood holder. I'm so proud of Brady for staying worthy to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood and for working hard towards turning in his mission papers. It's going to be quite the experience for the both of us, but I know we can do it :) He's amazing and has truly blessed my life. He's strong in the gospel and REALLY wants to serve a mission. I'm so happy he's dedicated and willing to serve the Lord when he has a great school opportunity. I'm always doing my best to look at young men as the Priesthood holders they are, and to treat them as one. The Priesthood is really important in my life and I can't wait to worthily be married to one in the future. Again, congrats Brady! :)
